"For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will decieve many."

 

And I looked, and behold, a white horse. And he who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went conquering and to conquer.

 

Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his his horns ten crowns,and on his heads a blasphemous name. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast, saying

" Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?" And he was given a mouth speaking blasphemies and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. Then He opened

his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. And it was granted him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, and tongue and nation. And all who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

 

"And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the

end is not yet."

 

And another horse, fiery red, went out And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.

 

"For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.

 

When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying "Come and see." And I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and wine."

 

"For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there

will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places."

 

And I looked, and behold a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with a sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.

 

"Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake."

 

When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" And a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were was completed.

"Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake.

And it was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue and nation.

"Then many false prophets will rise up and decieve many."

Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. And he excersises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. And he decieves those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do inthe sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast that was wounded by the sword and lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

 

"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the nations, and then the end will come."

 

Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth- to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people- saying with a loud voice, "Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgement has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.

 

"Therefore when you see 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the

prophet, standing in the holy place" (whoever reads, let him understand),

{Daniel 9:23}

 

And he decieves those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

 

"For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together."

 

Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven. "Come and gather together for the supper of the great God, that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.

 

And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh

And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire, and he cried with a loud cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, "Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe." So the angel thrust his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. And the winepress was trampled outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress up to the horses' bridles, for one thousand six hundred furlongs.

 

"Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken."

 

I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops it's late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of it's place.

And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings;and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty great earthquake as had not occured since men were on the earth. Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of of the fierceness of His wrath. Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. And great hail from heaven fell upon men, every hailstone about the weight of a talent. And men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, since the plague was exceedingly great.

 

"Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."

 

And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commandeers, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?"

 

"Then the sign of the Son of Man will apear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory

 

And I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

"Assuredly I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things are fulfilled."

In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.

"Heaven and earth will pass away but My words will by no means pass away."

Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

"Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this,that if the master if the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.

"Behold I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame."
